About the Role:
We are seeking a Founding Frontend Engineer to spearhead the development of an innovative AI-driven platform that enhances LLM (Large Language Model) workflows. This role offers a rare opportunity to build a frontend architecture from the ground up, shaping the future of open-source AI infrastructure while working closely with technical founders.
As the first frontend hire, you will design and implement features that support optimization, evaluation, observability, and integrations—ensuring seamless, high-performance experiences for AI-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a cutting-edge frontend for an AI optimization platform, focusing on React/TypeScript.
- Architect scalable UI components to handle large-scale AI workflows.
- Collaborate with AI/ML experts and co-founders to design innovative solutions for optimizing LLM applications.
- Tackle complex UI/UX challenges, including massive data processing and programmatic interfaces.
- Work with open-source technologies, contributing to a growing ecosystem of AI developers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience building applications from scratch (0-1) in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript—strong architectural decision-making is a must.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows and how they integrate with frontend applications.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field (prestigious institutions preferred).
- Prior open-source contributions or experience working in developer-first tooling.
- Experience with RemixJS, TailwindCSS, UI/UX design, and Rust for backend development is a plus.
